OK, wild guesses here.

122 - reunion total
80 - total classmates
51 - total classmates going with spouse or date (keeping in mind a few classmates are married to each other)
29 - total classmates going alone
25 - total classmates from out of state

You have a brilliant mind there, Tim! Don't know if your guess is correct but I bet you're close enough for the cigar.

I think this is van related.

122 warm bottles of beer
80 packages of beef jerky
51 pit stops
29 tire changes
25 wrong lane usage tickets

am I close?

You are one smart cookie, Tim. However, the middle numbers, 51 & 29, are something other than what you mention. Care to guess again?

I thought I nailed it. Maybe 51 & 29 are just the opposite of what I said. Let's see what everyone else thinks.

Anna Banana has correctly identified the final figures. Yes, we have more classmate chicks than dudes coming to the reunion.

Wow, Tim, you are great! I had some ideas but would never have gotten so many correct. Lois, you're just kinda twisted....but in a good way. NO wonder you and Steve are such good friends! That's a pretty good turnout, isn't it? For a 35th reunion? I'm pretty impressed and just can't wait to see everybody

You just now noticing that Deb? :-)
(depends on who you talk to whether it's a good twist or not)

And yes, the number of responses has been beautiful!!

Flattery will get you everywhere, ladies! Way to go Anna. That solution never crossed this not so brilliant mind. Wow, guys, you have to like those odds! Oh, wait a minute, I'm taking my wife! Nevermind!!!

Guys - come with your jackets 'cause with that many women our age - the room WILL be cooler than normal!

HA HA Linda can't believe you said that...If a guy said that we'd be dead! Good guesses by all. Tim, it is probably a good thing you are bringing your wife, with a mind like that, the women would be all over you, she can help fight them off! (or is that scare them away?) Of course that math does not say how many of those ladies are unescorted, so they all could have their Husbands/significant others with them...so the odds may not be an advantage at all. Clearly the room will look and smell a lot better with those odds regardless!

It is a great turnout, we all have to be very thankful for the half dozen people who have worked so hard to pull this off. Thank you.

Yeah right, Bill, like I ever had to worry about that!!! Ditto to what you said about the thanks to everyone that put in the hard work for the reunion. Please know that I for one really do appreciate it.

I absolutely echo what Bill & Tim have said re: the work you have put into this. With the busy lives people lead, for all of you to put the obviously HUGE effort into making this happen for all of us is just amazing. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!
You are great friends to everyone in the class to have worked so hard for this.

I wish with all my heart I could attend the reunion but I will be moving that weekend. I start my new job Monday. We were lucky enough to find a really great house in the country on 5 acres for lease. The landlord has no problem with having the dogs there. So far I love it here.
I hope there will be lots of pics taken and posted on the blog for those of us unable to attend.

Carla, I'm sad that you won't be there. You've added so much to the blog that it just won't be as great without you there. Still, the place sounds great & I'm glad that you found the job, etc. Good luck & keep all of us on the blog posted--some pics of you, the house, dogs, whatever would be nice too.
Again, we'll miss you

Carla, I'm happy that you found a new job and home but sad that the timing was so off. You will be missed at the reunion. There will be plenty of pictures to share with you.

Yea, Carla!
You have kept the blog fun alive, Carla. We will definitely miss you reunion weekend. Good Luck with moving day and your new job!

I don't really know where the appropriate place is to write this but wanted to thank Linda for letting us know about Mr. Kohlburn. I'm truly saddened by his death. He was such a terrific man, took s genuine interest in every kid at CM. He was a huge part of my high school life and I will always be grateful for the effect he had on me. Sure made my high school years better than they would have been otherwise.

Everyone - Nothing would be relayed to you all, if it weren't for various classmates (typically those from out of state)shooting me emails telling me the news in our local newspaper.

Gwennie actually told me about Mr. Kohlburn. So, this is truly a group effort. I just happen to have all our classmates on "group" email so we can share news with each other.

I, too, am saddened by Mr. Kohlburn's passing.

Ed Hartweger also passed away last week. He had been in failing health for a while according to Bob Dake.
