Sorry, I couldn't seem to make it any bigger. If you have problems reading it, I'll give some hints later.

Yep, I think you're right Deb. Used to pass that way when my folks still lived in Cottage Hills. We always came in off I55 at Greenville.
Linda, email me the original photo you worked from and I'll blow it up and send it back.

Yes this sign is just on the outskirts of meadowbrook. Hey does anybody remember Diane Meiser? She went to Cottage Hills grade school and Trimpe for awhile. Not sure what year she moved away. Anyway, I saw her the other day and am sending her this blogspot address so hopefully we will be seeing her on here!Hope everybody is having a great summer! Take care!

I remember this sign. It was just past Meadowbrook. Was it close to the Wild Goose Bargan Barn? Anyone remember that place?

OMG - the Wild Goose Bargain Barn was one of our family's traditions when I really young. Every Christmas Eve (did you know that Santa has to deliver some kids' gifts around 7pm on Christmas Eve so he can get them all out by Christmas morning? Me neither but that's the story my folks told us so my not-such-a-morning-person mother would be awake enough to take pictures of us opening our gifts!
Anyhoo, back to the Wild Goose. Every Christmas Eve, my mother would send us on the annual "Wild Goose" chase for yet another box of silver icicles or a chew bone for the dog, etc. While we were gone and Mom was in the tub, Santa would have magically appeared. Sadly, my siblings and I never seemed to put two and two together for way too long!

I can't believe I was right!!! I was never right when all thos quizzes were on the blog prior to the reunion. Maybe it's true what they say about Alzheimer's, that your longterm memory's good but the short-term memory stinks!

The best part of this was the talk about the Wild Goose. I hadn't thought of that place since I moved. My mom, sister & I went out there a couple of times and poked around in there for hours! The story Linda told about Christmas was really sweet.
