Yea, Anna Banana! You're gonna love the ornament. Congratulations!
WOOHOO, can't wait, it looks lovely!
Helen does a great job on the ornaments as well as the contest. I can hardly wait for the next one!
Congrats, Anna.
Taking a break from painting (when I start putting the brush in my coffee and not the jar of water then it's time for a break).. but wanted to mention the prize went in the mail on Friday afternoon 1st class. Anna you can expect it around Tues. or Wed.
Helen, it arrived Monday and has been hung in a special place for all to see. Its amazing to me how you can transform a gourd into something so beautiful.
She's quite an artist, that Helen is. How about if I quit this banker stuff and open a gift shop with you? Of course, all of the artsy stuff is your responsibility and I'll run the cash register and serve wine to all of our customers. Nothing but happy people all day long...I could do with a few days like that.
Hey, we'll get LaVeta to send us some of her watercolors, too. More happy people.
Anna, glad you like it. And Gwen that sounds like a good idea. I'm sure there are lot of talented people in this bunch who just haven't made themselves known yet.
Gwen did you say pour the wine or drink the wine? You wouldn't drink up all the profits would you?
How fun would that be??? Class of '72 Gift Shop. I'll add my baskets to the line up. Check out my new website AckermanBaskets.com
I've been weaving basket for over 10 years but just set up website a month or so ago and have not advertised yet...waiting until after Christmas..
Marsha, very nice site and fantastic baskets!
Thanks Helen....Your gourds are beautiful also....I checked out your website too and love the dolls.
I love the Toolbar....I can instantly check out the Blog and see what's happening.....You are so clever Ken.
