We're having a ball now....

...baseball, that is.
It was 1965. The winning all-star team posed for this group photo after coming out on top of the seven team tournament. How many of the players can you identify? The coaches?

Front row: Layne Law, Mike Tarantino, Luther Brunette, Gary Bruening, Kenny Coleman, Ricky Schmidt

Second row: Tim Golden, Ricky Taylor, Stan Zakrzewski, Matt Donaldson, Tom Newcomb, Tim Brunette, Mike Rethorn

Third row: John Spurgeon (manager), and coaches: Mike Bennett, Cap Prange, Jon Newcomb, Ron Berry

Thanks for the picture, Tim!

I can get a few of them. Tim Golden, Ricky Taylor, Stan Z., Luther Brunett is in the frony row, As is Gary Bruening, Is Benny Reinke in that shot? How about Dan Coleman?
One of the older kids in the back row (coach?) is Cap Prange!
Ok that is about as far and as wild of a guess I can take. I know I got three or four right. Thats not bad for 41.5 years later.

Thanks Tim...There's my first boyfriend in the second row. Luther Burnett was my buddy too. We were neighbors for years.

Is there a way I can forward this picture to my brother? He's pretty close to some of those guys.

Does anyone know where Luther Burnette is? They moved before our senior year, right?

Sheri,
Right click on picture; select "E-mail picture" in the drop down box; an email box should open with the picture attached.

As I recall Luther did move, wasn't his dad a minister of a church? I think he got moved to another church or something if my mind hasn't totally left me. Those darn Diet Dews! ahhh it tastes good.

Sheri right click on the picture, click save as, to save it to a folder on your computer, then you can attach it to an e-mail and send it on it's way. Tell Jeff I said Hi!

I sent the picture to Jeff but it seems that Steve Carey wants in on our pictures. There's no breach of security, etc if I tell them about our site, right?

If Ladyxandria can access our blog it should be OK if Steve Carey is allowed in.

Heck with all the stuff Gwen does to pictures, how do we know that Ladyxandria isn't really Steve Carey.

Heck Steve Carey was probably in more of our pictures than many of us were. As I remember he was every where when he was growing up!

Cheryl, good point, With Gwen's photoshop, and Linda's creativity, we can not be sure what we are looking at. Or who is going to see it!

I have to confess. The creativity department is manned by Steve and Gwen - not Linda. I'm a "just the facts, Ma'am" sort of person.
Gwen, on the other hand, has an incredible imagination!
