Linda (Schulte) and Bob Lack

Path #1. A blonde girl graduates from Civic Memorial High School and moves on to Lewis and Clark Community College for awhile before breaking free of her scholastic chains and trying something different. Different equals working retail. Venture to be exact. Still trying to discover herself, she met her first husband who was ten years older than she. He was pretty sure the marriage would work and I hear he was an Angel, of sorts, so she married him in 1975. In 1979, they welcomed their son, Kevin Matthew, into their family. She says little Kevin was and still is Her Life. She did all the right things. Stayed at home, sent little Kevin to private school in Godfrey during his early years (pre-school thru 5th grade), worked her stint as room mother, assisted with many other school activities, and was extremely involved with her church. She even started selling Mary Kay Cosmetics when Kevin was 2 which she continues to this day. Sadly in 1994, she and the Angel separated which devastated Kevin. She also worked for a private home health agency that eventually dissolved so she continued working for the same family without the middleman. She has unofficially adopted a small child from this family and they spend many weekends together now.
Path #2. A dark-haired guy graduates from Civic Memorial High School and he immediately goes to a welding college in Olney, Illinois. Here he meets a gal, gets married and they have a son, Jason. After a few years in the Olney area, they decide to move to the Bethalto area. He takes a job working for the Dome Railway Company in East Alton and stayed there 24 years before leaving and going to work in Belleville as a Boilermaker. He’s been very happy there for the past 6 years working about 6 months out of the year. This job gives him plenty of time to go hunting which he dearly loves.
Paths cross. Not really knowing who each other was, Linda Schulte Angel meets up with Bob Lack. Conversation ensues and they discover that they both gradu
ated from the same high school in 1972. They clicked and history is made. Linda says Bob is a big family man who really takes care of his family. They will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in June, 2007.
Bob and Linda have a successful storage business in the Rosewood Heights area and a newly built home out in the country. Together they go camping in their RV, ride their jet skis with friends at Rend Lake, and sometimes go out on their friends’ pontoon boat a/k/a party barge. Life is good.

Linda & Bob,
Sounds like a true "Love Story" to me...so romantic. Life is great! I must say also that I saw Linda last year and she looks fabulous! Mary Kay must be having a good year. :-)
Steve,
This profile has been on hold within the blog's posting area for several weeks now. I've been trying to get Bob & Linda's current photo posted as well but with no luck. So, I decided to go ahead and post their profile and deal with their current photo later. That's why this posting did not pop up at the top. I'll get that picture posted at work on Monday - hopefully.
Excellent. Glad you found each other. Sounds like a nice blending of families.
I probably haven't seen Robert since graduation, and I've probably seen Linda once (10 yr. reunion maybe..or K-mart, back in the day).
looking forward to talking to both of you at the reunion.
Great profile! Was lucky enough to stay at the Lack Lodge last year and have to say that Linda and Bob have a LOVELY place and a great life together. It must have been kismet that they ran into each other ten years ago. Look forward to seeing them in September.
Good for you Bob & Linda hope you have a life time of happiness
You make a great looking couple!
Congrats, Linda and Bob, funny how things work out sometimes. Great seeing you on the Blog. Do not be strangers.
What a great story. Congratulations to both of you for finding each other again.
