One of the two persons shown in this picture was a teacher with Bethalto District #8 for about 10 years ending in 1973.Who can tell us which one and what their name is?
My husband and I will be attending my brother's retirement dinner tomorrow night, May 18. Jeff's been in Bethalto his whole life except for his college years at EIU. He leaves with 33 years under his belt with the Bethalto School System. He was our "Welcome Back Kotter!" He's quite the lead adn supporter of our home town. I think he knows everyone in Bethalto!
WOW--you guys are good! I thought the woman in the picture looked kinda familiar so I figured she was the teacher. I don't remember a teacher by that name; of course, I don't remember having an Industrial Arts program either. Come to think of it , what exactly IS IA?? Sheri, congratulate Jeff for me. How neat that he came "home" to CM to teach. I hope his dinner is great. By the way, you never said how meeting the future daughter-in-law went. hope it/she was all you hoped for.

Mr. Drake - Industrial Arts / Drafting teacher says John Walker!
That's the first time I've heard the term pedagogue which I have learned means teacher. How do you come up with these.
That is Bob Dake and his wife. He built our house!
