SWT6TN X 7

You're all ribbons and curls, ooh what a girl,

Eyes that sparkle and shine,

You're sixteen, you're beautiful, and you're mine.

Where on earth do you get these pictures??? And , where on earth were we? I see yearbooks in Gail's lap and mine but it doesn't look like anywhere at CM (at least no where that I remember). The odd thing about this picture to me is that some of the people look like they're about 12 and some look like they're in high school. (Notice that I'm not saying who as far as the ages go--no matter what I said, someone would get po'd)What year was this taken, do you know?
By the way,I've asked my Mom to send me some old pictures
but she hasn't come through for me yet (so we can start that duel we discussed, Gwennie). I don't have any of my old ones at my house. It was easier for Mom to put em in albums for me. How lazy is that?! Little did I know that she'd hold them hostage.

I just got an email from Kathy Mac and she said that she didn 't think she'd make it back for the reunion. I'd love to see her but it's been nice to talk via email.
Any update on who'd gonna come?

the date on the picture says May 70. That would mean that Gail and I were still 15 (the only two bd I remember). babies.
My guess is that this picture was taken at Rhonda's house. I don't remember it at all though. (shock shock)
Yeah, I loved Kathy's headbands...they rock!
There's good vibes out there for the reunion. Maybe those who don't think they can make it will have a change in circumstance. I know I'm
looking forward to seeing you all.
Incase no one recognizes me,
I'll be sporting a headband, flower power tatoos, mood ring and granny glasses.
peace baby.

I am humbled by you, Ms Lois: try as I might , I cant' see the date on the side of that picture. What--you have superhero vision?
All of us would have been either 14-15 or 15-16, right?
Rhonda--this is a perfect time for you to get on this blog. WE're floundering here trying to figure out where we are. Help us out. For that matter, anybody else in the picture: if you have any ideas. put 'em out here. It would be fun to get some more people on here anyway. Rhonda??? Are you out there???

Try clicking on the picture. That's how my computer works...just a regular ole click and it blows it up and that date is right there.
We were young that's for sure.
Rhonda supplied the photo so it will probably be up to her to reveal where it was taken. No way I'd remember.Although, oddly enough, I can remember that ugly shirt I have on, where I got it, who bought it for me and how much it cost.
If anyone is in need of useless information, then I'm your gal.

i'd like you to recite all of the info about the shirt.

Once again, I have illistrated my total lack of computer skills. but hey: thanks for telling my that, Lois. I will now be able to actaully SEE the photos instead of just kinda getting the general idea.
I don't think it's weird that you remember the top you have on. I remember it too But have NO recollection of the one I have on. Just as well as I think it looks remarkably like one of my kid's pajama tops that they wouldn't be caught dead wearing out in public. I was quite a fashion statement!

Steve, you're just odd.....

Rhonda! Where are you??? These folks need your help. Nothing like putting pressure on a person. Ha! Lois, I can't believe you remember that shirt so vividly. I can remember some of my clothes because I didn't have that much of a variety. I used to raid my sisters closet and "borrow" some of her clothes. She would get so mad at me.
I'm betting the pic was at Rhonda's house because she lived close and she provided the pic.

Lois, all this talk about your shirt...do you still have it? Ok now this is bad and will tell you all what kind of a pack rat I am. I bought a shirt in 1974 at Robert Hall's in Godfrey. I still have it! I might wear it to the reunion..NOT! I'd have to lose 30lbs first.

I'm pretty sure that shirt got turned into a cleaning rag.
I'm not a packrat but there are times when I regret not holding onto a few things. This particular shirt isn't one of them.
I do recall keeping a pair of jeans at the top of my closet hoping I'd fit into them again. (Kinda like your 74 shirt) When reality set in I threw them in a bonfire and toasted marshmallows.

Sure is a good looking group of young girls there. Hard to look at the picture without feeling like a dirty old man...(knowing how we all felt about all of you back then, looking at the picture now through old man eyes...) oh well that sounds just plain wierd, but then somebody has to give Steve a challenge for wierdness don't they?
Lois Nice shirt, can't find a shirt like that anymore for $5 bucks...not that you would want to of course....

Hey ya'll, this picture was taken during a Cheerleading picnic at Mr. Kohlburn's house in 1970. He had a party for all us '70, '71 and '72 cheerleaders. So know ya'll know where and I had this picture deb. Boy, this brings back memories. Can't believe we've been out of school for so long. Can't wait to see ya at the reunion.
