I am SO disappointed. I just found out that I can't come this weekend. One of the other sales people booked an event for this Saturday just yesterday and there's only a short time frame to turn the rooms so I have to be here. I was really looking forward to this since it'll probably be the last one prior to the reunion. I hope everybody has a great time and I wish I could be there with all of you.

I will be there with bells but no sauce have to shop that moring with daughter for dress. Both of use hate shopping so won't take long. And for some reason I'm getting less done than I use to working for ourselves hence the reason for no sauce. But have no fail will showup with something.

So, someone tell us what went on at the picnic. Who was there? What news? Any pictures?
I was really sad that I couldn't make it but as it turns out, it was a good thing. I got a call on Friday from mu sister and my Mom was in the hospital with pneumonia & at 86,it's scary anytime they go in. Getting to Wisconsin from Bethalto would have added hours to the trip so it was a good thing I was still at home.
Hope everyone had a great time! Would love to hear all about it.

Oh my gosh, I've failed my classmates. I went to the BBQ and enjoyed myself so much so that I totally forgot to take any pictures even though I did take my camera.

John Walker had already been cooking for hours before I arrived PROMPTLY at 3:05pm. Now, I ask you. Is that late for a BBQ that starts at 3pm? John seems to think so. Just because I was over an hour late to the bon-fire - I'll never live it down. But, I digress...

Attendees included Harold and Christie Schaaf, Dan and Katrina Collman, Gary Null, Bill Tutterow, Kathi (Kruckeberg)and Stan Zakrewski, Debbie (Vezzoli)and Greg Spurgeon and John Walker and me. The AWESOME DOZEN! At least, we think so.

There was a ton of great food. John's pork steaks were so tender you could eat them with a fork, baked beans, hot dogs, brats, chips, dips, and probably five desserts including a chocolate cake. I'm sure I had to have missed some stuff but you get my point - lots of good food, good conversation and awesome folks.

We heard a little bit about Gary Null's military career, Harold's life on the road as a truck driver in days gone by, a sheep at the Spurgeon's place that was so dumb it couldn't get it's foot unstuck from a mudhole and a little fish market intrigue. We learned a lot about the various septic systems and subdivision developments in the area. That's just a few of the conversations I tuned in to and I'm hard of hearing. So, you can imagine what I missed.

It was a beautiful day all around!
