You're right about the people, Linda, but I have no clue what it's for either. Come on, people. don't keep us in suspense here. Really cute picture whatever it's for.
WOW, the dresses. I know I didn't own anything like that way back when. come to think of it, I dont now. I think everything I have is cotton or kevlar.Rhonda looks the same now her hair is just shorter.
Yes I recall this, this was before Gwen ripped my heart out and started dating an older guy...sigh. I wonder if Gwen remembers what she wrote in my 1972 Spectator? Ah, memory lane, what a great place to visit. ;-)
Wow, Vicky Wilson and Gary Null. Great pictures. Seen Karen Trimm at a wedding reception the other day and her and Mike will not be at the reunion. Tired to convince them but Mike works Sat. nights and Karen wont come. Maybe if we convince her. I'll go and pick her up. She can ride with Bob and I. Anyone else who want a ride, we can pick them up. I know going in by yourself is not easy.
Bill, I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, let alone what I wrote in your yearbook. But, here’s what I think I might have written, ”Bill, You are a man among men, a gentleman and a scholar, and a great kisser. Thanks for all of the teddy bears that line my bedroom. See you next year at EIU. Love Always, Gwen"
Ha good one Gwen, not even close although it was about time you thanked me for all those Homecoming teddy bears, etc., that I spent my swimming pool earnings on trying to win. Your welcome! LOL
I will leave you in suspense until the reunion! I am still trying to explain it to my mother....Just teasing...it was sweet.
Linda, please encourage Karen to come as I think many will be their without a spouse, especially if our spouses did not graduate with us or come from our area. I don't want my husband there...I think he would be bored stiff.
Carla wants to go. She loves meeting new people. Plus, she's hoping we get some dancing in. Too bad some don't want to go because their spouses can't or won't go. Sounds like they'll miss out on a good time. Look forward to talking to you, Bill.
Joe is looking forward to going. His high school experience consisted of running for his life everyday after school especially if he didn't have cigarrettes on him when he was ordered to give one up. He grew up in East St. Louis in the late 60's and early 70's, it was pretty ugly there then but he learned alot. He grew up fighting and has a huge appreciation for family and friends.and me of course, we have alot in common.
Where ever we were going (Help me out Vicki) we all ended up at the same place. Was it our Freshman Dance??????????? It had to be freshman yr. That's the only time I had long hair.

Looks like Karen Ballard, John Taylor, Rhonda Tiek, Gary Null and Vicky Wilson but what was the event?

Looks like an "Up with People" audition to me!
Good one Tim! Whatever the occasion, they look soooooooooo young.
As a former "Up with People" person, I can tell you we never wore anything that looked this snazzy.
My guess is a twirp dance.
I believe Bill and Gwen were a couple back then. Was the other shot taken at Rhonda's house?

I agree Rhonda has not changed much at all.

Susie, is not coming, she went to one or two, she says, she will stay home and read a book. So no spouse here, so I will need people to talk to!
I volunteer to talk to you Bill.

Picture taken at my house on Corbin St. Can't remember details why we were dressed like that. The picture is missing Terry Thornton. Ya got me!

Don't feel bad about not remembering Ronniero...I don't recall this event at all or whether I went to this dance or not.
