How many of these have you tried?

Whenever*you purchase a box of S.O.S Pads,*take a pair of scissors and cut each pad into halves. After years of having to throw away rusted and unused and smelly pads, you can now make them last twice as long. In fact, you may even notice that the scissors getsharpened this way!

Use vertical strokes when washing windows outside and horizontal for inside windows. This way you can tell which side has the streaks. Straight vinegar will get outside windows really clean. Don't wash windows on a sunny day. They will dry too quickly and will probably streak.

Spray a bit of perfume on the light bulb in any room to create a lovely light scent in each room when the light is turned on.

> > ======================================
To clean artificial flowers, pour some salt into a paper bag and add the flowers. Shake vigorously as the salt will absorb all the dust and dirt and leave your artificial flowers looking like new! Works like a charm!

Anytime I can help... but, "the body thing" does not compute.

Hey, I finally got a job again! I've been there almost 2 weeks now.

If anyone in the Bethalto area is interested, I am trying to help my neice to find a home for a dog she rescued about 7 months ago. Her landlord won't let them keep it and my neice has had "Lucy" kenneled but she needs to find a good home for her. Lucy is approx. 2 yrs. old, has her shots, and is a black lab mix. If interested, give me a call at 618-971-8609. Thanks.

WHAT??? You've been working for 2 wks and you didn't let me know!! Well, OK, I guess you might have been busy...

As far as your list goes, I have used the soap in the pans for cleaning them and I found a good thing for chigger bites(they seem to like me). Half cup alcohol, half cup of peroxide and an aspirin. Scrub em with that and it cleans and helps with the itch.

Just checking to see if I can get on here or if yesterday was just a figment of my imagination....wow. I guess it really worked. Who knew???
As far as these things go,. I've tried a few of them but I have a couple of questions: 1. why not put the lime in a margarita instead of rubbing it on your forehead and 2. Who has left over wine???
CONRATS, Linda on the job. That's great news. Also, thank you for continuing to put effort into keeping the blog going. All of us who read it are so lucky that you've stayed with it. Thanks a million.

Does anybody have a current email address for Donna Aljets? The one I have is outdated. IF you have one, could you email it to me please? Her b'day is today and the note I sent was returned. My email address is mooney_deb@hotmail.com
Thanks in advance!

Deb,
I, also, tried to send Donna a happy birthday note but it was returned.
I guess "someone" should start checking the contact list to see which email addresses aren't working anymore before the next reunion - whenever that may be.
