Wow--I've never been the first one to write about anything on here. Hmmm...everyone else must have a life! It's a slow day at work so I'm playing a little bit. What a great picture, Linda! I remember this from the yearbook. There were really a whole bunch of good looking guys at good ol' CMHS. Since I see some guys who were a year ahead of us, this must have been our Junior year. That was the year we did so well in pretty much all the sports, isn't it? I still remember beating Wood River in f'ball that year and taking 5 busses to the Highland game.what a lot of fun. That's also the year my Dad sat me down and told me that if I was gonna be a cheerleader, I needed to have a clust what was going on in the game and explained it all to me. Been a huge fan ever since. Go Illini--no snide comments,people, we're gonna be MUCH better this year!
Hi Deb. Yes, thank you Linda for this shot. We had good looking guys, but I wish we could find some of them. Luther Burnett was my neighbor for years but moved before we graduated. His dad pastored the Zion Lutheran Church. I know Donna Aljets still has ties to that church. I wish she could find him thru their church records.
