Yeap-They called me Rolly-Polly Ronnie Ro cause I was FAT. I had thunder thighs! Great hearing from ya. I think I finally figured this blog stuff out. I'm a little slow. Can't wait to see ya at the reunion. R
never knew the origin of the little ditty, but always thought it was cute. glad you figured out the blog...and I'll look forward to seeing you here and at the reunion.
I'd know that group anywhere too. I lived next door to Kay most of my childhood and lived across the street from Joe from Jr. High on. A very nice pic. FAT??? Where? Funny thing I always thought I was fat until I look back on old photos now.
What a great picture. You all looked terrific. Rhonda what the heck are you talking about?? When were you EVER fat or have thunder thighs?! When you were a toddler? I know a LOT of guys thought you were just about the hottest little thing they'd ever seen. I'm with Lois--glad you figured out the blog and can't wait to see you (& everyone else) at the reunion. Linda asked me to contact some people to see if they're coming and so far, from the ones who've responded, it looks like a pretty good number of the people I emailed are gonna try to be there.
In the invitation, there are things planned for Friday & Saturday but nothing on Sunday. Is that going to be a "free" day or is anyone thinking about doing something then too since it's a holiday weekend? If you can't tell, I'm going to try to squeeze as much out of this as I can!
Rhonda great to see you here. I will add my 2 cents, thunder thighs was never one of the thoughts, any of the guys I knew ever had about you! I think Deb called it correctly.
Deb, the only reason the guys were around was to "play" with my dad. He'd play football and basketball with the whole team and tell 'em what they did wrong after a game. Mom would cut their hair. And, it was free FOOD! I can remember Dad and Terry Moran playing basketball one day and Terry thought he could over-take my dad. Well-that was WRONG. Terry went down on the concrete and I thought dad had hurt Terry. By the way, anyone interested in seeing my parents - they'll be at the beer tent with me Friday night. And Moran, Dad could still probably take ya down. He might not be able to get up however. HA

Yes Bob, It's Greg Mich, Kay Elmore, Rhonda Tiek and Joe Schoppet. I believe it was taken during the '71 Cornation.
ronniero!
I remember the little saying that went with that name.
great picture...I'd know those "kids" anywhere, but wasn't sure what year.
Thanks for sharing it.

Cute couples. I remember the coronation. Rhonda, you never had thunder thighs!!
Rhonda, Rhonda, Rhonda.
You were never fat.
Of you, we were fonda.
You were always "that"!
Maybe I should leave the poety to Dr. Steve now.
Welcome to the blog, gal!
Has anyone had any contact with Kay lately? I spoke to her on the phone back in October but nothing since.
She told me she's has shorter blonde hair now. I can't imagine Kay without that long flowing dark hair!
Kay, if you're reading this - I sure hope we hear from you soon or, at least, see you at the reunion!

If I could figure out how to scan my baby pics - you'd see. I was rolly-polly for sure. I'll bring baby pics to the reunion to prove it ya'all.
