Gals from the Neighborhood

I forgot I had this picture. Cheryl Davis Staicoff flew up about 6 weeks ago (correct me if I'm wrong Cheryl) and we went to visit Debbie Hester Foster - a two-time cancer survivor! She survived breast cancer awhile back and just underwent treatment for bladder cancer last fall. They said her petscan (is that how you spell it?) came back clear of cancer. She is on the road to recovery!
Debbie was babysitting her four-year old adorable grandson so she couldn't join Cheryl and I for lunch. Cheryl and I spent several hours at the Burger King just gabbing away.
Debbie's childhood home is pictured right behind her. The lot behind my shoulder backs up to my childhood home. Our mothers still live there. Debbie had her daughter, Jamie, 4 days after I had my son, James. Weird, huh?
We had a lot of slumber parties at Deb's house. I first saw Elvis IN LIVING COLOR at Debbie's house! Lots of good memories here.

Something tells me you three could keep a neighborhood hoppin'.
Great to see Debbie..I keep track of her, but it's nice to see her smiling face.
Good to see Cheryl's face instead of her feet (don't get me wrong, they're perfectly good feet..)
and the ring leader, Linda...our natural brunette..I thank you for blogging this for our enjoyment.

Debbie,
You are one tough lady to have survived cancer twice. You must have had lots of prayers to help you through. It's good to see this pic of three sassy ladies. Ha! We all know who is the sassiest too. That's one of the things I like about you Linda.

Great to see the three of you reminiscing. I bet you could share some crazy stories of days gone by. Will you all make it to reunion? Hope to see you there.

So great to see some classmates together and I second the cheers for Debbie--what a triumph! I can only imagine the courage it takes to beat that terrible disease. You're truly a hero.
Looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion.
