This is a Christmas Tree

And, this is a Christmas Tree

These are NOT Holiday Trees. They are not Hanukkah bushes. They are not Allah plants.
They are Christmas trees. Say it...
CHRISTmas , CHRISTmas , CHRISTmas. Yes CHRISTmas -not Holiday

We are not celebrating the birth of a Holiday !!!
We are Celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ!!!

So I would like to say to each and everyone of you Have a Very Merry CHRISTMAS
and may GOD BLESS each and everyone of you!!!

Linda, well said. You would not like California too much. There are way too many politically correct and liberal people who are worried they might offend someone's feelings if they say Merry Christmas! (a couple of the reasons why I am spendingless and less time in California.)

So Merry Christmas everyone, and for those who love Holidays, and who worry they may offend one of those groups who seem to not like the idea of Christmas...Happy Holidays!

Hope everyone, has a healthy, happy rest of this year, and 2009!

Don't forget to bring the Garmin and make sure its up to date. You know how they like to close those Iowa roads this time of year. Yes, I've been there and done that...the old fashioned way, with maps. One of those occassions when I35 and I80 were closed in all 4 directions out of Des Moines.
Have a safe trip and ENJOY...

Winter is barely here and I'm already tired of the snow. I think I only had to shovel snow twice the whole time I lived in Cottage Hills. Well, it will definitly will be a White Christmas here. What's it like where you are???

It's sooo nice to hear all the boys talkin it up. Makes me not feel so terrible for not checking the site in eons. My daughter is still in San Diego but I am totally surprised how she is resisting the far left Kool-Aid drinkers. She is still pretty open minded but shocker of all shockers, I think she might have voted republican...so, as you can see, I must have had some kind a influence...MERRY X-MAS to all.

Rich, If I may be so rude, Friday at 0930 our time and 0730 San Diego time, it was 46 here and 45 out there. i called my daughter and told her about it and that it was time for her to move back home cause its ridiculous to pay that much money for a place thats colder than Illinois....She did not respond...I think she was still asleep and tuning me out as usual.Bob and Mona are not far from her.

Well, Deb, it's 8:13am on Sunday 12-21-08, here in Apple Valley, MN and it's -12 and a wind chill of -25. 45 feels like summer when you come out of this stuff. I shoveled snow 3 times yesterday, just to be able to get the cars in and out. Today, everything gets started and run around a bit.

Congrats on your daughter....we just have to keep after 'em, they'll come around. LOL Good Luck hearing her say "You're right, Mom", that may never happen.LOL

Rich, OMG, I would freeze my @#$! off up there, even with the hot flashes. I think I will stick around here and appreciate our milder winter climate.

A very MERRY CHRISTMAS to all! I refuse to say happy holidays.
It has alway been a Crhistmas tree and will remain so. Too bad if I offend those over sensitive pansies. I worked with a jewish doctor and even he called a Christmas tree a Christmas tree. the fact that we put up a Christmas tree did not offend him in the least. He respected our traditions and beliefs just as we respected his.

I hope everyone has a safe and a very Merry Christmas. No snow here but it has been cold. I would love to see a white Christmas but I think the only wet stuff expected here is rain.
