2007 Class of '72 Bonfire

Most of the group - including non-classmates.

Some folks had left by the time this picture was taken.

The Long and the Short of this year's bonfire - Helen & Tim.

Some of the quiet girls: Sandy, Helen and Vicky!

Sandy Bryant Wieckhorst, Rich Hendrix, Helen Downing Eyers, Harold Schaaf, Sheri Dyer Shoff, Tim Golden, John Walker - behind Tim, Kathy Kruckeberg Zakrewski, Stan Zakrewski.

Marsha Kilmer Ackerman, Wil (Boyd) Eubanks (it was his birthday), Bill Patton, Gordon Kivett, Vicky Lewis (in the back), Sara Harrop Kivett, and Dan Collman.

Somehow, Gordon got hold of the reunion van keys and crashed into the bonfire.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured. At one point, we thought we heard Officer Deb sending someone to investigate but they went to a party behind John's house instead.

P.S. Yes, it's true we burned the Reunion Van and I'm sorry that seemed to upset some of you.
HOWEVER, The Van served it's purpose well and would not have withstood another transport.
We salute you, CMHS Class of '72 Reunion Van.
And, as Dr. Steve would say, Onward!

Be sure to read the WHOLE thing!

(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is ~ 700,000.
(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are ~ 120,000.
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept. of Health Human Services.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now think about this: Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U. S is ~ 80,000,000.
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is ~1,500.
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.000188.
Statistics courtesy of FBI >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners. (That will only surprise you if you're not paying attention)

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!
