Anyone Recognize this Santa?

Oh, Christmas Tree, Oh, Christmas Tree

Even though I had a lot of family over for Christmas, I neglected to take ANY pictures (I guess I was concentrating on keeping the wheelchair out of everyone's way too much) so I snapped this one AFTER Christmas for my photo album. I'd prefer to have an angel on top but haven't found the "perfect" one yet. I guess I'm too picky.
One of Helen's gourd ornaments is slightly under the top ribbon and to the left of a long golden ornament.
Lights are white and purple and have been for at least 5 years and the ornaments are golden, milk white, handmade wooden reindeer that my parents made about 15 years ago, some smaller 12 days of Christmas ornaments that my son gave me one year and a Jack-in-the-Box on a reindeer ornament my son had as a youngster (but I really like reindeer so it went on the tree). Oh yeah, and some purple ribbon and a few purple bows.
Since Christmas was over, the only gift left under the tree (in purple Kitty paper) is my birthday present from my son and daughter-in-law.
I usually put the tree up in early December and take it down after New Year. One year, I was so busy working two jobs and going to appraiser school on the weekends that I left it up until April just around Easter. It's amazing what you can get away with when you live alone!
Ok, I'd showed you mine - now, show me yours!

A Special Visit

Santa paid a special day after Christmas visit to the Eyers home.
He had heard that Mya spent some time in the ER after taking a fall off the couch and busting her lip, which was cut inside and out but luckily not all the way through like feared (because of all of the blood.)
No stitches, but plenty of trauma/drama especially for Mom and Grandma Helen.
Santa's gift was so appropriate...a doctor's kit.
We sure hope that Mya's lip heals quickly.
Everyone who attended the reunion will recognize Santa as Lonnie "Doc" Eyers. Maybe Santa will make an appearance at our next classmate gathering?
Send us YOUR holiday photos, too...pretty please.

Christmas Bundle

These photos are of my family's newest little blessing, Destiny. She is my Mom's first great grandchild (my brother, Neil's first grandchild) and as you can see, she is our Christmas joy!
Please share your family holiday photos with us. Send them to Linda or me to post to our blog.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Everyone!
XO
Gwennie
